Terms of service
Last updated 19 October 2026 · Drakeborne: the website, the marketplace and the game at https://drakeborne.com
Drakeborne is run by the team behind Drakeborne (“we”, “us”). By using the website, the marketplace or the game you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use them.
Playing
- Drakeborne is free to play. You must be at least 13 (or the minimum age for online services where you live, if that is higher) to play. To buy items or receive prizes you must be at least 18, or have your parent’s or guardian’s permission to buy where the law allows it.
- The game is in open beta. Things will change: rules, balance, items, the map, and the strength of dragons and troops. Progress can occasionally be lost through bugs, and we may reset parts of the game if we have to. We’ll try to give notice of big changes.
- Your character (level, gold, items and quest progress) is saved on our server. Sign in with Google or a wallet to continue it on any device; as a guest you can continue only in the same browser, and a guest’s save is deleted after 90 days without playing. Items and dragons owned by a wallet, kingdoms and scores are kept on our server too.
- To keep the game fair, the server checks every save. Progress that isn’t possible in normal play (for example from an edited save or a modified game) may be corrected or reset, and repeated cheating can lead to a ban.
- Gold, materials, troops, titles, kingdoms and other in-game things have no real-world value and can’t be exchanged for money.
Your account
- You can play as a guest, sign in with Google, or sign in with a Solana wallet you control. Buying items and winning prizes need a wallet. Keep your Google account and your wallet’s recovery phrase safe: whoever controls them controls your game account, and we can’t recover a wallet you lose.
- We will never ask for your recovery phrase or private key. Anyone who does is a scammer.
- You can stop playing at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms (see conduct), and we may end the game, with notice in the game where we can.
Weekly prize rules
Weekly token prizes begin only when the game’s token launches. Until then the boards are for practice and bragging rights, and nothing is paid.
- Who can win. You must be at least 18, signed in with a Solana wallet, and allowed to receive crypto prizes where you live. Prizes are void where prohibited. You are responsible for any taxes on what you receive.
- The weeks. A week runs Monday 00:00 to Sunday 23:59 UTC.
- The boards.
- Duels: ranked by duel points from rated duels (win 3, draw 1, loss 0), then by rating. A duel is rated only between two signed-in wallets, and the same two wallets can play at most 3 rated duels a day.
- Bone Colossus: ranked by damage dealt to the Colossus during the week.
- One person, one wallet. Using several wallets, colluding to trade wins, bots, scripts, exploiting bugs or any other cheating leads to disqualification and may lead to a ban. We review every week’s results before paying, and our decision on eligibility is final.
- Payment. Prizes are sent to the winning wallet within 7 days after the week ends. There is no cash or other alternative. If we can’t send a prize (for example an unusable wallet), it may be forfeited.
- Changes. We may change, pause or end prizes at any time, for example for legal reasons, with notice in the game where possible.
- Season rewards, epic quests, the Kingdom Clash, raids and tournaments give in-game rewards only. They are not token prizes.
Purchases with the token
- Packs, cosmetics and dragon eggs are sold only for the game’s token, through your own wallet, in the game or on the website’s marketplace. Prices are shown in US dollars and converted at the live price when you buy. A purchase is a blockchain transaction: it is final, and we can’t reverse it. Refunds are given only where the law requires it, or if we fail to deliver what you paid for and can’t fix it.
- If a payment goes through but the item doesn’t arrive, open the marketplace or the game again with the same wallet (unfinished payments are checked again), or contact us with the transaction.
- What you buy is a licence to use the item in Drakeborne. It isn’t money, can’t be traded or sold (for now), and has no value outside the game.
- We may rebalance items and dragons (for example how strong a dragon is in battles) to keep the game fair and fun.
- Legendary dragons have a fixed supply. When they’re gone, they’re gone.
- Crypto tokens are risky and their price can go to zero. Nothing in Drakeborne is financial advice, and we make no promise about the token’s value.
Rules of conduct
- Be respectful. No harassment, hate speech, threats, sexual content, or slurs, in chat or in names (players, kingdoms, dragons).
- No cheating: no modified clients, bots, scripts, exploiting bugs, or several accounts to gain an advantage. If you find a bug, tell us.
- Don’t impersonate other players, us, or anyone else, and don’t ask anyone for their wallet’s recovery phrase. We will never ask for it.
- Chat is filtered automatically, and you can mute or report players from their profile. Moderators can mute, ban, or block an internet address, temporarily or for good, and may remove offensive names.
Our game, your content
- The game, its art, music, voices, code, name and logo belong to us or to those who licensed them to us. You may play and share screenshots and videos of your own play; please don’t copy, resell or reuse the game itself.
- The names you choose and what you write in chat stay yours, but you let us show them in the game and remove them if they break the rules.
- If you report a bug or security problem to us in good faith and don’t exploit it, we won’t act against you for finding it.
Legal
- Drakeborne is provided as is, without warranties. We don’t promise it will always be available or free of bugs.
- To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for lost progress, items, tokens or other losses arising from playing, from bugs, or from outages. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have by law as a consumer.
- These terms follow the law of the country where the operator is based. If something here can’t be enforced, the rest still applies.
- We may change these terms. If we do, we’ll update the date at the top and tell players in the game about important changes; continuing to play means you accept the new terms.
- Your data is handled as described in our privacy policy.
- Questions or problems: the contact address on our official channels.
